Which file types and technical requirements are involved?
ppress.pro checks and prepares common print files such as PDF/X files, open layout files from Adobe InDesign or Illustrator, as well as packaging dielines and multi-component production layouts. We also take into consideration technical requirements such as substrates, finishing, spot colors and color profiles. If required, we can produce FOGRA-compliant contract proofs. We also analyze and prepare non-standardized files or AI-generated content to ensure reliable production.
Do correct print files guarantee perfect production?
No – which is why it’s important to collaborate with a prepress expert before you print. Production problems are often not caused solely by formal errors in print files, but by a lack of alignment between viewing conditions and production systems. We will properly calibrate and profile your software, monitors, RIPs, printing systems and viewing conditions to ensure the final printed result matches your visual expectations.
